Yesterday our children experienced the ocean for the very first time and what a day it was. We packed everyone up early and headed to Durban, starting the morning with Parkrun on North Beach before spending the rest of the day exactly where we were meant to be... in the sea, in the sand, in the sun.
Swimming. Building sandcastles. Running into waves. Feeling salt water for the first time. Discovering that sand gets absolutely everywhere and that this is somehow completely worth it.
The smiles said everything.
These are the days we live for, extraordinary days where our children get to just be children. Beautiful memories made. A day none of us will forget.
